Tip of the Day: 1/28/15

If you can win the game, win it. There is no need to farm jungle instead of taking an open inhibitor after winning a team fight. You only stall the game out and give yourself opportunities to throw.

Should say ranked tip of the day, considering i dont see a reason to rush finishing a match that is about having fun and enjoying it

Having fun = winning :P

My tips are also for people interested in winning and improving their play :D

Not too sure why you say ranked, either. I get plenty of teammates that have the normal mentality in ranked play.

And I think everyone should be fine with that. its a video game, not your job. You have nothing to lose but some spare time that you obviously have plenty of to be playing a video game anyways

and your honor as an enemy. An honorable enemy doesn't drag out the pain and suffering of their opponents. They don't give the enemy false hope about being able to leave their base and see the views of the fruitful jungle again (one that you've by now turned barren for them anyway), they don't give the enemy botlane who went 1/5 in lane a longer time to be verbally abused for feeding, they show good sportsmanship and end do what they need to progress the game. They take the inhib so that the enemies have minions to deal with instead of nothing to do.

I agree with alexandra, it is a video game but yet everyone is playing it and you are out the topic, we are talking about how to win a game and what you are telling us is what we already know. I suggest you should really listen to her tip, it's not fun when you are winning earlier game and you think you are going to win the game but in the end you lost because you or your team didn't push.

When other people are trolling around for "fun" and impeding on the rest of the team's fun, it is not longer cool.

It's not a ranked tip at all though. LoL is a strategy game. I might be playing Lulu ADC with an Ashe support but winning a teamfight and then taking an objecting because of it is not rushing to finish a match. Rushing is knowing 5 enemies are up, seeing that open inhib and wanting to end so bad that 2 people go and start smacking the inhib and then kill themselves when it becomes a 2v5. A game is not fun when the enemy team is beating the shit out of you for 30 minutes, you can't leave your base, and they won't end the game either. It's not fun having to surrender, you surrender because the game is too painful to bear. I can still have fun losing as long as the enemy doesn't sit there and farm jungle for 'full build' before taking us out.

that is about having fun and enjoying it

If you're playing a strategy game the fun is in the strategy. Farming jungle for 15 minutes after you've 'won' is not strategy it's just rubbing salt in the wounds.

Part of the fun about league is that it becomes a very fast paced high thrill game. The reason you teamfight is so you can take objectives. The fun is in the teamfights and the thrill of racing against the clock to take out Braon Nashor or the inhib before 5 enemies with homeguard jump on you.

I've had this happen so many times. Teams are too worried about kill ratios (though they don't mean much besides money) and lose chances to push lanes or grab objectives, because they underestimate the enemy. So many times could I have won a game if the team decided to go for dragon or Baron. Why even grab it? The game (could be) almost over. I'm not in Ranked, but one of the biggest differences between ranked and unranked is player mentality.
