The Honors/Reports System is Broken

I'm kind of tired of this system. I literally just got reported for the second time for verbal harassment when I didn't even say anything all game besides for GG honors. People lose and grief and ALWAYS report for something when they are upset, but hardly ever report for positive teamwork. I don't even know what the consequences of being reported are but I'm still pretty pissed that I'm getting in trouble for doing absolutely nothing. I do admit that I drop an F bomb or something every now and then, but it's really not even used against someone and if they cannot handle a cuss word in a sentence like "hell yeah!" then why are they playing this game. Kinda pissed.

Are you actually receiving any punishments, like chat restrictions or temporary bans, or are you just seeing the warning notifications? If you're just seeing the warning notifications, then you should know that those are only a warning. All they mean is that you're account has received more reports than usual recently, but they are not any indication of a punishment.

Something to keep in mind is that simply being reported does not get you in trouble. Reports simply trigger a review of your account, and if nothing punishable is found, then you won't be punished. The thing about the report system is that anyone can report for any reason, but that doesn't mean you can punished for anything.

Also, something about the warnings is that, unlike the actual punishment system, the warning system doesn't seem to check for "false reports," so it's entirely possible for you to receive them based entirely off of false reports. I'm not saying that's the case for you (it could or couldn't be), but without checking for the validity of reports, warnings could be sent out quicker to people who are being reported more than usual, basically telling them "Hey, you're being reported. Although your recent behavior hasn't necessarily been unacceptable, maybe you should check it just in case." That's all the warnings really are.

Yeah i'm sick of their system, it's ridiculous. If you are getting that upset towards someone in a game then mute them, it's why there is a mute button. People get upset and get frustrated it's all part of the game. When I see people getting toxic I dont even report them because I understand that "Hey, maybe they are having a bad day, or maybe they're just raging. But whatever not like it's making my life hard" People just need to get over themselves and take the pity party elsewhere. Im sick of getting reported because im a bit "salty" im sorry but it's part of AN ONLINE GAME. You play with other people and you see other peoples personalities and how they play. The reporting system has got to go.
