Is it just me or does winning even feel like, not as fun.

Its like oh you're winning have fun just walking in a straight line and crushing everything in your path. There are no more big plays anymore, if you're you're team is fed you win, if you're team is not fed you get stomped. I remember back in the old days of season 5 you saw some really cool stuff when playing like even yasuo could do cool things that looked good and made the player look like he had skills, now its like yasuo Q, Q, E, E, Q, Q, R penta kill. This game is not as good as it used to be, not even close.

Ever since RIOT decided LCS was more important than their actual real game, the game has been like this. They nerfed turrets, encourage 3 tank team comps for level 2 turret dives, highly enforce a very strict meta that even more bans could not effect. So you see the same champs day in and day out.

You either super win, or super lose. There are no more counterplay's, no more coming back/come backs, if your team is losing in the beginning, you will lose in the end. Heck, it even used to be where 1 person could carry their whole team with good enough plays and skills and a little bit of luck and just the right champ, but now, PSHHH, good luck with that. IF your top lane dies 3 times, and bot lane twice in the first 15 minutes of the game, YOU ARE FUCKED. Unless your Vayne or Yi anyway, cause you know, BALANCED CHAMPS, Vayne 1vs5 penta , or Yi split push god.

Wins don't feel like a win when you can literally just roll your face on your keyboard and get a kill since your team composition is so superior.

Hell, if a tank made a mistake a few seasons ago, and engaged early, they would die, now if they fuck up, they still win! Thanks to EZ MODE champs like Naut and Ali. Lock on CC full team knock ups FTW!

Champs are also the same, Zed you used to have to LAND YOUR DAMN Q. Now, you just ult, ignite E, auto, thunderlords proc WIN. Doesn't matter if you even missed your Q. Same deal with talon, doesn't have to hit you with his ult blades, or the ones he throws out, literally just blinks to you autos you and you die.

I mean even supports do damage now, heck, even more damage than ADC's! Like ZYRA, i HATE this "support" champ. She is literally a mid lane mage just like Brand, and yet is the support to every single LCS game.

All of this is thanks to the LCS being more important. That 1% of players is way more important than the rest of us, because they bring Riot more money. Riot lost their way and became a corrupt business just like every other game company does. Money over game quality.

So yeah, ur not the only one feelin this way m8, wins just feel like mindless steam rolls, and losses just feel like horrible steam rolls that you know no matter how good you do, you just won't win in the end. And that's an awful feeling.

Yeah, youre the only one. Winning is still as fun as ever

It depends, as a Cho player even winning feels like an uphill battle against your kit.

But yeah, what mobility does is largely increase the consistency of champions. If everyone is consistent then the game just becomes a mindless stat-check, which means that snowballing wins the game much more easily.

It isn't like this for all champions though. A fed Illaoi Chogath Mordekaiser Heimerdinger still have to jump through hoops to make sure their increased gold is reflected in some kind of advantage for their team.

ive felt this way since the start of season 5. snowball was such that finding even games were diamonds in the rough. victories are empty, you see yourself making players go through what you just did last game knowing it just as easily could have gone the other way.

that being said, it's not as bad now, but the meta and a lot of design principles rub me the wrong way, at least in their execution

And people were saying in season 5 that they missed season 3.... The cycle never stops

Mordepool1/23/2017, 8:09:05 AM2 votes

Won my last ranked. At no point did my team have a gold lead. But I carried my team by killing baron winning the aftermath teamfight and pushing midlane until GG. Every game with Morde is a struggle it's like putting League in hard mode

Yeah, turrets need buffed, laning phase needs to last longer, tanks need to die slower, and everyone but assasins need to do less dmg, since lets face it even a support can match an assasins damage at this point.

I agree that winning feels not as great. It's really hard to get into a game where everyone is of equal skill and there's no match ups like Kat VS Vel'Koz (it's obvious which one will win and which one get's more rewarded for winning; both are Kat). Sometimes I feel like it's not even worth it to wait for these games. They're so rare. The snowballing in the game is too hard. Plus people don't understand, if a early game champ gets fed, that's supposed to happen, because they're a early game champ. You gotta defend and wait, but people don't like to do that.

I'm playing this game since somewhere start of S2(or whenever Ahri came out), and I have no idea what are you talking about. It was always about whos fed, it was always about braindead champions being impressive at start and lame after, coz you realized about what a hell are you looking at actually. There was alot of balance screw ups, I can't deny. But the things you're talking about, were here all along.

Grammar in tittle is cringe-worthy.

It's called a burn-out. Against competent people with your skill level, there are so many strategic choices you have to make.

The old days of Season 5

Winning used to make me feel so good even in season 6, but now the only way I do have fun is once we are stomping the other team I go and 1v3 and get 2 kills....

"back in the old days of season 5" and "big plays" in the same paragraph. That's cute. Guess you never played in S3 then...
