My computer has been getting random lag spikes. I can go all day without lagging and enter the very next game and start lagging. Im not sure why because this computer is only one years old and it has given me no problems until about a month ago. Im just curious if anyone else is having problems with high ping?
More often then naught, my ping does not spike, it goes from like 40 to 120 and then my character can not move and all the minions are doing no damage to one another.
I've been having the same problem for about a week now, the beginning of my games will run smoothly and out of no where i'll have this weird Latency/ lag spike and all i can do is glide around. nothing takes damage and any ability i cast is like 10-30 seconds late. My friends who do play with me see me casting everything in actual time, so its somehow client side i believe? I have no ping spikes, I've tested my packet loss and it's 0% and I've repaired,reinstalled, and reformatted both league and my computer. I sent in a ticket to riot so hopefully they can answer this because clearly now i'm not the only one. I've realized that sometimes disabling the Firewall on my computer can help it for a game or two, but it returns.
next time you play a game and start having problems press ctrl+shift+esc and click on the performance tab to see if its on your end and if you are receiving and sending the correct amount of packets
