I rarely see anybody using customized wards in my games as opposed to champion skins which I see all the time. I was wondering why Riot never has ward sales yet they seem to do champion sales all the time. I know I would personally buy them if they were closer to the 300 RP range.
Because they're so cheap anyways
They are cheap for what you get. A champ skin you wear sometimes when you play that champion, for now until you start playing someone else more.
Ward skins you can bring into every single game with you.
They go on sale, via bundles. For example, I wanted the fire and ice wards they were 640 each, I checked the bundles and the team fire and ice bundles got reduced to less than 500 each. I was a little disappointed the dragon ward didn't bundle with the skin though.
