A tip when switching your trinket item;

When you switch from red trinket to yellow trinket or vice versa, there's about a 2 minute wait in which you can't use it. You can circumvent this wait by selling your trinket by right clicking it, then just buying the new one from scratch, it doesn't count as switching. Not sure this helps anyone, but it sure helps me in the support role.
