Has anybody ever bought all the runes?

I would like to hear how long it took to get them all. I used to think that I would buy 12-15 rune pages and do all sorts of fun combos for builds. 1300 hours into the game, I have 4 pages of basic runes.

i currently have 20 rune pages and nearly all the runes...

i started in end of season 2/preseason season 3...

alot of the runes i have i dont even use on rune pages

I started in Preseason 3.

I have all champions, 20 rune pages and all the runes I particularly care about.

EndlessSorcerer : You've spent about 2.557 hours on League of Legends which means 107 days of your life.

It helps that I did some research when I started the game. As such, I knew which runes took priority and that I was supposed to invest in them first. I completed my AD and AP rune pages by saving my IP between levels 17 and 20 (without any IP boosts).

Also, I would generally save up to 20k IP before spending it. As such, I'd usually have 30k-40k IP whenever a BOGO Rune Page sale or 30% off Rune sale occurred.
