[4K Support] In-Game Cursor doesn't scale well @4K.

Long story short - in-game cursor is way too small in 4K. It stays the same size as it does @1080p which effectively makes it half as big as it should be. The consequences? I frequently lose my cursor. Playing anything that requires rapidly kiting is incredibly difficult without using 3rd party software like yolomouse. The downside is that the cursor still doesn't stand out that well since the in-game cursor dynamically changes slightly to stand out whereas yolomouse is fairly static for the most part.

Simple solution would be to make the cursor scale with 4K or simply have presets in the options menu for cursor size. Not losing your cursor would have to be one of the most important things in the game. Surely Riot can't be happy with players having to compromise their gaming experience with 3rd party software just so they can play the game.

Please upvote this even if you don't use 4K. This is something that Riot needs to do. 4K resolution will eventually be standard on computers - the transition is already beginning. Riot needs to get ahead of this.

They already made a whole post about 4k man, simply put, most of their player base does not have 4k, they would have to set aside developers from other projects such as the new client, reworks, skins etc etc just to focus on the issue of 4k, which they won't do since so little of their player base actually has 4k capable computers.

Just stick with 1440p and get a good 144hz 1ms monitor, it'll look pretty damn good and you won't have much issues.

4k is still fairly new, and 90% of this community is children on their parents 15 year old laptop. It would be a waste of their time to focus on something that the majority of their players will never use or be able to use.

Riot is a business, they have to focus on the majority of their players over the smaller %. You can probably expect them to do something about 4k, when they see more of their players getting it, but even then they still have to take devs away from other projects just to focus on that one thing that still is such a small % of players.

So in short, in the future, they will tackle this issue, but as of right now, until the children of their community grow up and gets jobs of their own to buy sweet 4k monitors and 4k capable computers, it just won't happen.

I mean, i have a 30 inch 4k monitor in the basement that i don't use, because most games just don't support it or scale well. 1440p 144hz monitors are about the best you can get games to look at this time. Even titles that say they support 4k, bug out, like GTA V, it supposedly supports 4k, but whenever i tried it it would be a 50/50 chance of working. It looks great when it works, but eventually you get tired of games not loading because they don't support SLI 4k.

4k is not as close as you would like to think it is, many titles that claim they support it have issues with it, and it's still something that only a small % of people can actually afford.
