Losing LP due to a Disconnected teammate.

Hey, I'm still rather new to the ranking system, and am far from being a pro, but I'd like to ask this question: How come we lose LP when we lose due to a player who dced?

For example, say my support disconnects for the 1st 10 minutes of the game, effectively feeding a kill and providing the enemy adc with a massive pressure/gold advantage, how is that supposed to be fair? Wouldn't it be logical to reduce the penalty awarded to the unlucky loser?

I mean, let's be honest, unless the enemy team is hopelessly r%%%%%ed, there's no way that they'll suffer from a 5v4.. let alone a 2v1 in the botlane.

All I'm trying to say is, there are plenty of players out there who lose games in ranked due to such events; such as myself, and players that I've played against.

And we're tired of your shit Riot.
