Dynamic Queue is a scapegoat for bad performance

Is dynamic queue REALLY the reason why you can't climb to gold?

Or is it simply because you lack the team coordination and mechanical/strategic skill required to get there?

Stay salty noobs :D

I mean premades with voice chat>solo players without.

This is a logical fact.

Sure, but rare is the case where you'll see 5 solo q players playing against a 4-5man team with voice chat.

It's not even about bad performance. Dynamic Q just made ranked into normal. There's no competitive integrity anymore when you can Q up with 4/5 players and climb so much easier than playing solo. So when you show off that ranked border for season 7 people will think it's worthless because they will think you Q up as premades and got carried. And when solo player do the same people will think the same. All that hard work and people think you get carried? It sucks.

It does reduce the individual competitiveness a little bit, but I honestly feel like Dynamic Q has made me a better player. I used to be the kind of player who'd solo q and flame teammates for making mistakes when I'd lose, rather than looking at my own; simply because it's alot easier to do so when playing anonymously with other players. Sure, there are some games in lower elo where teammates will literally cost you the game (by feeding 0/12 and whatnot), but that's only a fraction of the time.

When I started ranking with a couple buddies of mine, it kinda forced me to stay chill and look for solutions when things were going wrong, rather than just flaming and tilting my team by blaming their individual mistakes (whether in my thoughts or in chat). I've got nothing wrong with the "chillness" that DQ has brought us.

As for what people think, whether u got carried or not, all that matters is whether you find that you did a good job or not.

The biggest problem of premade is ranks don't mean shit anymore. In solo queue when you see someone is, say, plat, you know this person actually got plat or at least high gold level. in dynamic queue however, you can see someone who is plat, but the person's mechanic might be silver level.

It has nothing to do with that. On my main, I have gotten to Plat for the first time (actually solo) but it's still a terrible system which devalues rankings and is toxic to a large portion of players. Worst of all, it makes the ranking so ambiguous because you can't compare a solo Plat to one who only did it with his 4 buddies on smurfs etc. Even if they weren't boosting him and it was legit like Riot wants to pretend, it would still not be representative since 5s is a different experience and skillset. It just makes the ranking meaningless for both solo and 5s. It's an absolute butchering of LoL as a competitive game which can be respected.
