Is there a reason why I can't actually buy skins during Champion Selection?
Even if it is supposed to work that way? It evens gives you the option "UNLOCK!" on the skin selection. But then you click on the skin you want and all are unavailable.

I would assume it's due to possible malfunctions, especially those of us with slow internet (7 MBPS download speed ftw!). I mean, if I bought Popstar Ahri with two seconds left in the Champion Selection screen, and it tries to process my purchase, but can't fully process it and takes away my RP but forgets to give me the skin, I would throw a fit. For that reason, they don't allow you to buy skins in Champion Select. Maybe in a couple millennia when everyone has the same download speed regardless of circumstance, they can implement this, but for now, it just doesn't seem likely.
