It made Ao Shin playable for some odd reason.

lol, what sucks tho is i buy that upgrade on every champ i play in every lane. (unless i need pink wards for whomever) Soooooo im just gonna go to the PBE till the new patch hits

Buying the trinket temporarily unplugged your champion from the Matrix. In most cases this resulted in their death but on occasion a chosen one was born, who then reentered the Matrix and fought a long, hard battle with Agent Smith to decide the fate of the game.

This resulted in Katarina occasionally losing games, so they had to disable the yellow trinket for further investigation.
