You are level 15 so you are leveling with people who are new to the game as well and are either learning slow or just downright terrible. Or some higher ranked player made a smurf and is stomping their matches.

Of course you will run into more skilled players as you go on and get paired with them, but you will still have matches where your team mates will be incompetent, brain dead or toxic.

Playing on weekends, holidays and peak hours may result in strings of losses as well, since you will run into more of the ''bads'' since they are not in school.

Princess Emma is being a little harsh, but she's not wrong, she's not right, but she's not wrong. People are also constantly switching lanes trying to find what they like the most and might not be so effective in the mid lane, or is a poor jungler, as you get to higher levels you will start finding people who have found lanes they rather enjoy and will be much more skilled in that area.

One thing I like to tell people who are relatively new, is to not fret losing a lot. Lose a lot and learn from your losses. As mentioned below new players will lose more games. It is completely normal and do not get discouraged whatsoever. This game is highly competitive. Embrace this. It is truly a good thing, because by level 30 you'll be playing a lot more solid than you are now and you will notice a difference. One of the key things to get you winning games is staying positive even when your team is not doing well. Heck even if you can win your lane and feel confident you gave it your all, is really a good thing. So to answer your question "Why is it so hard to win games?" Simply put "you" need practice, other players have way more Experience(and in some instances were talking upwards 300 hrs more game time than you). If you've ever went against someone who just shuts everyone down, this is usually an experienced player not just a "good" player. So even if you are doing decent, it doesn't mean you can always keep up with experience of other players. This game has a relatively high learning curve compared to most games.
