I lost a game, and saw a guy get carried on the enemy team who was intentionally trolling.

So I mean if this guy gets to rank up and I can't then their is obviously something wrong.

He didn't play the game with that troll build (for the most part). He played normally and swapped it out when he thought the game was over, but it lasted a few more minutes. Even in the cases where this didn't happen, I'm not sure why you think you deserve to rank up when you lose against a troll.
if that player consistently trolls, then they probably won't rank up. a win every once in a while isn't going to push them into platinum.
in other words you lost what was effectively a 4v5
this guy is just salty that he has been to promos 5 times and lost them all, how about you quit complaining and play the game or just leave like you said you would.
