Why do you still ignore leaver's impact on a game?

I know on SR, TT, Domi, ARAM, it's so ancient and countless discussions were going about that. But when you add a fun hexakill mode on TT, you ignore the fact just how much anti-fun one leaver creates. Yes, they'll be punished after game, but who will restore moral damage caused by them? Why there is no such thing as earlier surrender when someone DCs for 5 mins straight? Why there is no bonus gold to the team who suffers a leaver? Sucks to be them? What kind of heartless way of treating players is that?

We could think of something else about compensation for a team that has a leaver.

Btw, mention abuse? Who would abuse in a fun mode?

The idea has been brought up before about either having an earlier surrender button when a player is gone for to long or an auto surrender when it's more than 2 players gone for longer than 5 mins from the start of the game, no lost being recorded in that case. Teams can win with one player down I have seen it and done it myself, but in saying that most of the losses I've had are purely because we had an afk and so the team outnumbered us.

Afks who either never join the match or leave a couple mins in are a big problem in this game. It happens way to often.

Only you can Prevent Morale Damage. You and every other player. Take the initiative to be positive to your team, and I've enough 4v5 wins to know that it's possible. Regardless, there is not that much the can do with people leaving but simply doing what they are already doing, which is banning consistent leavers' accounts temporarily.

A leaver can ruin the gameplay, but so can giving a team automatic compensation which would win them the game even when they wouldn't have won it as a 5v5 to begin with. You would have to increase the power of the remaining 4 players, but then they would absolutely dominate their lanes and thus we have a problem...

If you substitute them with a bot, bots don't work with the team very well and can easily feed, so if you would actually rather have that, then go ahead. Maybe giving an option once someone has left for a certain period of time to get an automatic vote to your team to vote-in to use a bot for the player who left or not. And if that player returns while the bot is in the game, then the bot can start going back to the fountain while that player is loading and once they reconnect they regain control of their champion? IDK, I don't know if that would really be viable though.

How about if the leaver has been gone for an extended period of time, that you enable loss forgiven for that game so the losing team doesn't lose LP, but the winning team still gets LP for winning? I don't think anyone would want to waste that time, and punishing the players who stay would be a bad idea, so winners should still get LP and the losing team can get loss forgiven for extended AFKers

What about something to perhaps discourage leavers from games such as the leaver will lose double lp or will be demoted if below 50 lp? We have too many people who simply decide that leaving is fine because they won't get that bad of a punishment especially if they have no lp at all. (I've heard at least 3 different players say that because they had 0 lp, they could lose and it didn't matter). This and people trolling has become a serious issue as of late for me and I've reported many different people in my ranked games because they have decided that it would be fun to troll or it would be fine to leave because they were losing and they had other plans. I've lost two ranks in a row for these very reason and to be quite clearly honest, I do not consider it fair that I pay the penalty for their actions even when I play well. Something more drastic needs to be done to these players as it's really just gotten out of hand.

My opinion for the trollers out there - there should be an option that if everyone on the team reports the said person for feeding/afk/trolling the team - please just consider giving them a temp ban after reviewing the game log or chat logs. There would be definitive proof of someone saying flat out "feed or afk" or "I'ma troll lol" or "---- you guys I'm afk, bye."... etc. Look it's unfortunate that we all get these people who ruin our games and it's gotten to the point where those of us who had shots at going up a rank get affected negatively because of it. Sure the team will report and the player will be notified that there have been reports against them, but what stops them from doing it again? Drop in rank? Ban from league for awhile? Really, something needs to be done to strongly discourage this sort of attitude because it takes the fun out of the game when someone decides that because they didn't get the lane they wanted or they didn't get the help that they needed - buy boots, Zeal, Zeal, Zeal, Zeal, Zeal run in and try to get to their spawn. It's ridiculous how many times it's been happening and it shouldn't keep happening. Just some sort of consequence for these actions must be implemented with a harsh consequence to rid these games of people who are out to ruin it for other people. My opinion on the matter, you can hate it or love it but it's there.
