Low elo is all luck | small rant

I know I am going to be drowned in downvotes, this is probably the biggest QQ post today but I am just stuck in Bronze 1 with no confidence that I will get out. My reason is that low elo is split into 2 groups of people, 'People with an idea' and 'People with no idea'. The people with an idea have a sense at playing the game, they know basic mechanics like farming and what not, some do these things better than others. And then the people with no idea are the ones who just go adc or mid 'cause they do damage' and have no clue on any mechanics on the game, quite frequently I have an adc who has 56 minions at 20 minutes or a mid laner who is 0/5 at 10 minutes. I got to Silver 5 back last season on what I think is pure mm luck of being paired with people who have some clue on how to play the game and us just working together to win, but today my games are just people who look like they just started playing 2 weeks ago. I've read countless posts on how to get out, but the 'focus on yourself' point isn't working when I see my team mates dying that die every 2 minutes and even if I 'got gud' I still can't win. If anyone wants to duo and try and get out of bronze with me I am down for that.

League system currently is terrible. I sucked before and honestly deserved Silver 5 as soon as I hit level 30, which I got though I took a break to try to learn about the game more. I came back with a 75% win rate currently and almost all of the games I've lost there was a troll and/or AFK on my team. It's pretty sad that my rank is judged off of my teammates who have no relevance to my personal skill.

That's not been my experience. I don't meet a lot of people who don't know the game. I meet a lot of people who just troll, or shit their panites in champ select about something and miss about four waves of warm typing about it. i get a lot of afks, disconnects, rage quits and people with ping so bad they can't lasthit. i get people who don't say anything and play well for 20 minutes, get mad that i don't give them blue, and sit in dragon pit until we loose.

Honestly, you just have to keep playing. Eventually you will climb to where you're supposed to be based on winrates. Unfortunately this takes a very long time unless you do get lucky and win 10 games in a row. Keep chugging along my friend.

Sht like that makes me cringe. I don't understand why people are so intent on complacency.

Like I said, solo / duo que is a game of luck of hoping you get people who just have an idea, they dont need to be good, but just have an idea.

When you become better than bronze, climb out, then hit a brick wall somewhere in silver/gold, you're gonna look back and tell yourself "damn bronze was so much easier."

This is coming from someone who's climbed out of bronze 4. If you think it's all about luck you are wrong and will plateau. I know this from personal experience.

Don' hate me for saying this but you have no confidence because you don't trust in your skills, knowledge, mechanics, awareness, etc. Instead of saying: "People this" or "People that." Say: "What could I have done better?"

Of course there will be games when you did the best you could and lost. Maybe because of an intentional feeder, bad team comp, or teammates who refuse to cooperate.

Even in those types of games there are things you could have done better. Farm, outplays, awareness, objective control, item build, etc. Also you should have some standard rune pages and always tweak your mastery page for the current matchup.

Stay calm, play smart, learn from mistakes, and climb. There's no need to rely on luck.

With all of the time that I've WASTED on Ranked I could have earned myself over 400K$US by now ! P.S. : The Elo-System sucks due to how stupidly time-consuming it can become to change numbers. Even pros will often take & require over 200 games just to get out of Silver.

I mean it may be that you are truly a silver player stuck in bronze but as a previous diamond play (not bragging just proving a point) If I went on your account and played one game I could probably just 1v4 or 1v5.

It's just when the player level is so much different, it's far easier to single handedly win a game for your team.

Another way of putting it is think of playing vs beginner bots. If someone were to leave the game I'm sure you could just carry the game.

(hopefully i didn't sound like a cocky ass hole)

Just pick Tryndamere ,and carry I am in bronze 1 too buddy! :) I was b5. And honestly when you get 300 cs in 27 mins you should be able to carry.

just made a thread like this pretty much but way longer. Im bronze too and I consider myself to be a lot better than most the people in my elo so if you want to add me you cant, "atreat". I'm banned currently but after I would love to have a duo partner :).
