Why do toxic players words in league tilt us so much more than real life?

Like I honesty find what people say on league to tilt me so much more than what people say to me in real life. Maybe its because I feel like I can't do anything?

Maybe because its easy to find something to throw back at someone in real life?

yeah its cuz your stuck with them for the next 20-50 minutes meanwhile irl you can beat them to a bloody pulp, report them to the police for harassment, and/or walk away
