Don't get me wrong, I love losing ranked games because of the 3/16/2 duo bot lane of Darius and Morde as much as the next guy, but can there be a soloQ for the times that I actually want to try and win games? Thanks.
Do people really confuse soloQ with 1v1 mode?
Sorry league doesn't have a 1v1 ranked mode, try SMITE: Battleground of the Gods. They have a 1v1 ranked mode.
I feel like you're asking for a 1v1 MOBA. A new Mortal Combat just came out if that's what you are asking for.

It's already hard enough to find a decent matchmaker/MMR system for individuals based on the outcome of a 5v5 match, throwing in fudge factors for duo queues is just making it harder (and less accurate).
Not saying duo queue needs to go away, they just need to make true solo queue a thing too.
