Hey guys looking for a laptop that fits these specs 17'' monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution gtx900's, maybe even an older brand of graphic cards hard drive + ssd good cooling (Asus ROG?)

Games atm are - LoL, Overwatch, CSGO, thinking about newer mmo's too

Browsing around on amazon and I'm looking at a used ASUS ROG GL752VW https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B015ZG9964/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used&m=A25KN9FJIQMUDV

Sounds fishy ordering a laptop thats used and is 500-600 range. Maybe because there are newer ROG laptops out?

Do you absolutely need a laptop for some reason? I can't really think of many reasons you would take one over a desktop for gaming. That said, if you order a used laptop, make sure you do a fresh windows install and wipe it clean first.

Seems kinda high when I bought an 18" laptop 8 years ago with almost the exact same specs at that only with 4GB of ram cause prebuilts like to make you think ram is expensive so they add a little bit each year. Seriously, 16GB of ram is like 50$. Slapped 8GB (The max the board could support) as soon as I got it, cost me about 50$ back then.

But anyways, my laptop is 8 years old, and I paid that much.

I wouldnt pay more than 1000$ ...Canadian... for that laptop.

Spend $2k and you could build your own complete desktop that would utterly crush that laptop. Main costs that make prebuilts the better choice in the low end is the OS, prebuilts buy keys in bulk making it cheap for them. But the more expensive you go the smaller the margin the OS takes of the overall system cost of custom built.
