Is it just me or is darius never weak at any point in the game.
He's very strong early, and very strong late game. Maybe he falls off in the mid game but im not sure he just seems like a stomper the whole game.

That's true, though the balance he displays is due to how well defined his windows of power and weakness are. You can kite him, juke all of his abilities, but in return Darius can get more stacks of his passive. Of all the Juggernauts, Darius (and Skarner, perhaps) got the most beneficial facelift.
Darius is a piece of shit, at least when people say "omg i hate this garen/fiora" I can understand that, they suck. they can't handle high mobility burst champions, Darius on the other hand has nothing really to allow him to kite if the enemy does not wish for it. if he misses his E or flash is out of the question, he's invisible
