You guys have all been told not to give out your personal information online and everything. You skype name is one of them. Unless its to a friend just don't do it. Once someone has your skype name they can DDOS you. So just don't do it.
You can DDoS someone without their skype name, it's just with skype ip check, anyone can tell your IP from your skype name now.
Honestly if people do not know this already god help them. Though someone aruged that you get players IP addresses from games cause people could get it from skype. Then when mentioned that a server is different from p2p, i was told I did not understand the internet......

Isnt this obvious? it would be the same as giving your name or address out to random people. This is one reason as to why i never accept random skype contacts, or people who ask while playing any type of game. i use it personally and only have my friends and family, if you feel the need to give out your information like that i think you are probably too young to be on the internet!
