[Needs a Red Response] Annual Mystery Gift from Riot... inequitable.

The Annual Mystery Gift for good behavior... did some players really get ones of 520 RP value while others got skins of greater value?

That's like if you have two kids, you give one a $1 & the other $20 for Christmas.

You talk about being equitable to your players as the reason you wouldn't give Lifetime RP Purchase Rewards... yet you go & do this which' the complete opposite of equitable.

I understand everybody had an 'equal chance' of rolling a more expensive skin... but how horrible for those who are deemed equals for 'good behavior' yet receive a lesser value. Just think over my analogy again, it's a perfect fit for this situation.

How do you justify this? I understand it's a free gift & that's kind of you... but it's really messed up the way it was treated at the same time.

Every gift given should've been of equal value. How are you going to correct this?

Well, you put it in a good analogy, but you're thinking of it the wrong way. Considering which skin you got was completely random, I like to think of it more like a raffle instead of a "biased" or "unfair" gift giving. If you meet the requirements for the raffle (good behavior), then you are eligible to win the prize. Anyone who enters the raffle gets a prize, but some lucky individuals will get one of better value.

If you are unsatisfied with the skin you received, then try your luck next year. You may be one of those lucky recipients to get a Champion Ahri or something. Even now, Riot employees are still working to ensure that everyone who demonstrated good behavior receives their skin. I hope this was of help to you.

Consider: There is an item in the gifting shop that you can purchase, called "Mystery Gift."

This item, valued at 490RP, was the gift offered.

In a very real and literal sense, the actual cost of every single gift was the same. The perceived value, however, was very different. Not unlike actual gifts.
