I have a big issue with how Riot see's Placements.

I spent the entirety of the last season earning my Rank. I don't need to be dropped an entire tier and have to re-earn my rank every fucking season. Riot's whole fundamental mindset is all wrong. There's a lot of players who simply want to go from Bronze to Silver in a season, and then Silver to Gold the next. They shouldn't be subjected to having to climb 2 whole tiers every season if they want to improve on their previous season's rank. It's absurd.

A season is too short if you don't have enough free time to play. And the matchmaking is so bad that sometimes a player don't want to play again for a few weeks when he looses several games because noob teammates.

It always puts you a tier lower than you were last season. And it's not that hard to climb tiers in a fairly short amount of time. I went from Bronze 2 to Gold 5 in under a week. Maybe 3-4 days at the most. So it's fairly easy to climb tiers if you're consistently winning which assuming you're better than the tier you're currently in you should have no problem doing.

I have a firend who went from silver 5 to gold 4 in a single day, I'm not that good but hed been gold 3 the preious season, he finished out in plat 5(he stopped playing ranked after reaching plat)
