Having challenger queue times in high plat flex queue is funny

That's challenger queue times? Jeeze, I was queued up that long just earlier today in bronze with support as my pref role. OCE op I guess

NA has like 3 min queue times. Could just be that it has more round the clock players though, idk.

Part of it is regional, but part of it also could be just the settling in of flex ranked being added this season. There's now 3 different ranked queues compared to what once was seasons ago. The player base isn't going to be as concentrated in the solo/duo queue slot at times, resulting in higher queue times than we've seen previously.

Best we can hope for is either the player base increases, some weird move on Riot's part to have regions be able to play with/against each other, or arguably the queue times for higher elos would go down if more of them spent time in their own elo instead of smurfing (which to that issue I completely understand the frustrations of Plats, Diamonds, etc. having to wait forever sometimes just for one game, but the more of them that flee to Bronze-Gold elo smurfs just self feeds the very cycle they're frustrated by).
