I find trying to carry myself out of bronze not very much fun.

Regardless of the people I encounter I find the climb challenging and tiresome (because im bad). Its just the same thing day in and day out, win a few, gain 60 lp, lose 1 lose 20 lp, win a few more, get to promos, lose promos go on r%%%%%ed loss streak back to bronze 3. carry yourself back from bronze 3 to bronze 2 promos lose again. its no fun. what do I do.

duh, you need to press the special combination of buttons that makes your teammates not go AFK every other game. That same button combo works for people doing things like spamming "enjoy the LP Loss!" in champ select, then running mid and feeding enemy zed. If you watch any LCS, you can clearly see that each other teammates are not going AFK, or they are not yelling "Enjoy the LP Loss!" in champ select.

Once you master that secret button combo, you'll start to climb.

last season i was placed in Bronze 2. It took me 25 games to get to silver.

This season Riot Mirros posted the article below http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/competitive/get-ready-2015-ranked-season with this snippet: "As usual, you'll have ten placement games to fight through before settling in to your tier and division, ready for the climb. But this time, they work a little differently: in previous seasons, placement games were way more impactful than regular season games. Challenger players could lose all ten games and end up in Silver during the 2014 placements, while Bronze players could go on lucky winning sprees and end up in Plat before getting their butts kicked repeatedly until they fell a few tiers. Neither of these are good experiences, so while this year’s placements are still important, they won’t cause established players to swing as far up or down because of good or bad luck. Your placement will still be heavily influenced by where you ended up last season. If you’ve never played ranked, then your form in your placements will be all that matters! Finally, with the pretty substantial changes that preseason brought, we figured that everyone should have a fresh opportunity to rise to the top. Because of that, we’re again running a soft reset to player position with the start of the ranked season, meaning you’ll likely place lower than where you ended the previous season."

After placement games i was placed in Bronze 5. That sure made an impact, dear Mirros! The silly thing about this is not the "soft" reset, but that since i have been in bronze, 80-90% of the games i play are with former silver and gold players. WHERE'S THE POINT? I dislike meaningless grind. Placement games are 100% luck.

Promo games also are stupid. In order to advance you have to win 3 out of 4 games, while playing against players with a higher mmr than you.

Why can we not have the old elo system back, where you either climbed, or you did not. Where there were no weird League Points and no arbitrary roadblocks (promos). Where it was more about skill than the luck of having a good team in promos. And where Bronze was at 1250 elo, not between 0 and 800
