POLL: "I got toxic players in my game"

THIS IS NOT A RANT THREAD

This is a question, So I just played a game as jungle nunu, We won however chogath support and graves ADC for the first 10 ish minutes were being toxic tword me (I purposely did not speak in champ select or in game until I got a reaction for this social experiment)

I instalocked nunu jg via pick order even though last pick graves had called it

now proceed into game,

graves right off the bat is being very toxic (I expected this as I took his jungle wihout saying a word) but soon after despite just have had pushed both bot towers with them, I died my second death trying to kill the enemy reksai (via chasing) and I got a toxic response from both graves and cho,

NOW I didnt respond I instead muted them let the enemy know they might want to report them and then just focused and had fun and won

NOW THE QUESTION

Despite them being toxic at first, I had muted them and had no real proof they continued being toxic tword me because I muted them and nobody else complained

I still did the right thing and reported them

but heres my dilema

I know that me reporting them wont make a difference if nobody else reported them, but why would anyone report somebody on the winning team for being toxic to one player for a short ten or 20 minutes?

So the polls as follows

Should they still be reported and held accountable even if we won and they were the reason for the win?

yes or no?

or if they are toxic should it be excused as long as it is not directed at other players?

and also

What would you do? if you were me? if you were on my team? the enemy team?

would you report them or let it slide?

Never ask for reports. If a player doesn't personally witness toxicity, he shouldn't report anyone. Riot have stated that threatening others with reports or calling for others to report for you are considered offenses, which have contributed to people being banned. By engaging in this sort of thing, you are antagonizing. You are no longer a bystander, but a participant.

This is actually false. The system builds cases based on the number of reported games rather than the number of reports per game. So it doesn't matter if a player was reported by 1 person or by all 9, it's still counted as a single reported game.

Should they still be reported and held accountable even if we won and they were the reason for the win?

And to answer this question: yes. Yes, they should.

if it wasn't in all chat, then the other team shouldn't report since they didn't see it, even if it happened. you should just report and not tell others to report as well.

if someone just says someone was toxic, then it shouldn't be believed unless it shows since it could be true or false and people have lied about others being toxic while they weren't before.

Well this wasnt very nice specially since you werent talking in champ select. I dont mind when someone takes my lane but id at least like to talk it over with them. If someone below me calls Top and i want it i ask them if they can play whatever is open if they say "Ye but not so well" or "No not really" then i let them have Top. You are not wrong in taking your lane but you should try talking to them even "Hey sorry man im going to Jg"

let the enemy know they might want to report them

and by this you mean you said /all "report this toxic bot lane plz thx"

I still did the right thing and reported them

uh no you didnt, you purposely instigated them for your "social experiment" by instalocking their role without talking to them just to see if they would be toxic and if reporting them for that would get them punished.

Either im reading this wrong or you are purposely trying to get people to be toxic... if im reading this wrong you need to work on your wording a bit.

What is toxic dude? What is it? People saying ' wtf?? ' after you turret dived to get one kill and died?, after you as a jungler tried to gank their lane with 40% hp and 2 lvls lower and got killed feeding their lane muchuo?. When you tried to solo dragon at lvl lvl 10, got killed and gave away free dragon?? Toxic when you died 3 times in 3 minutes? Toxic when you picked a stupid champion to jungle with and you get executed in the camps. Toxic when you picked a champion that gets countered by the enemy chamoion and despite your team warnings you said 'it's ok i will be fine. Toxic when you keep aiming for the tanks in every team fight while the adc keeps tearing your team apart... Toxic when everyone is asking for you to go mid and push together but you keep stalling in jungle camps, toxic when you keep split pushing getting killed everytime, feeding all those enemies who are currently behind? What is toxic? Telling people the truth, suggesting what they should build?, when jinx buys the item 3028 for her first item, are you toxic to tell her ' wth are you building?,

  1. When someone picks Janna to play adc in a ranked game it's toxic when you say somethibg about it? There are countless of occasions where people act stuoid and impulsive in the game, saying something about it doesn't make you toxic dude, maybe, i say maybe, you are tok sensitive....

Seriously, though. Yes. BUT, as the rules state, if they come clean and apologize for ranting/raging, then it's not reportable (within reason, of course).

If you muted them all game didn't check at the end, then you can't really say that along with their improved gameplay there was not improved attitude and/or an apology for raging.
