I'v really noticed a trend with all the champions people hate.

Leblanc Zed LeeSinBlitzcrank
I admit they are annoying as fuck to play against. Incredibly annoying. But what I have noticed is that in plat + all of these champions (except blitz) have shit winrates. Leblanc : 48.11% winrate Zed : 48.12% winrate LeeSin : 47.08% winrate

Obviously platinum + players have figured out how to deal with these champions and/or maybe these champions are not actually that strong. Thoughts? I would like to hear what plat + players say about this.

annoying does not mean op/strong. it just means people on the boards mindlessly complain.

I said except blitz, honestly I'd prefer he had a below 50% winrate :D

An example still counts as an example. But I am fine with you wanting some winrate reduction.

Anyways,

The Boards complain about a lot of champions perennially. They complain about everyone from Darius (51.11%) to Fizz (50.23%) to Ezreal (47.54%). The champions people on the boards complain about don't usually have a lot to do with winrates or champion performance.

The thing that favorite champions like those, champions like Zed, Lee Sin, Yasuo, Blitzcrank, Master Yi and Fizz the thing that they all have in common is that they kill you. It actually looks to not even be about whether the player wins or loses the games. If it was, then people would be complaining more about champions who seemingly do far more to win games than them, champions like Sion or Leona. They would be complaining more about the utility focused and teamfight oriented champions who win more like Zilean (52.62%). But they don't because their effects on a match are frequently harder to appreciate, especially in lower tiers; there is no announcement of "Tanking Sprees". What they do is not as readily apparent and nor as immediately frustrating as having to stare at a gray screen for 45 seconds.

One of my most hated things about blitz crank is the fact that his hook hit box can miss by half a kilmeter and somehow still snatch you.

one out of 4. The only reason why is because he is so punishing of mistakes. (for counterplay) LB has MR. zed has zonyas. lee has armor and his ult is harder to land properly. blitz has flash.

Oh c'mon dude. We both know from being on the boards that there are more than four champions for this; people complain about Yasuo and Fizz and Nasus and Champ-from-the-game-I-just-lost and Ezreal and so on. And we both should know we can do the exact same thing for Blitzcrank as against:

"For counter-play: Blitzcrank has MR and boots (only 300g!) Lee has flashing his Q"

But none of this particularly has a lot to do with the (admittedly a bit vague) thread topic, patterns in champion salt.

All these champs are op against people that cannot position, that's about it.

Seriously these champs are not that hard to play against, it is just that in lower elos players aren't aware of the map enough to realize the mid is roaming and die needlessly, and lee is only hard if you don't know how to play against them. Seriously all of those champs, bar blitz, are immediately neutered by any form of hard cc and since they are squishy they will immediately die if focused.
