I just played a game as Diana. I went 22/10. We had an afk support and I tired like hell buy we lost from the afk. When I lost I lost 21 lp. I did THE BEST IN THE GAME also had an afk and I lost a shittons of lp. How are good players supposed to move up in ranks when this is the system they have. The placement are based on luck so much it comical. I can't wait for a better game to come out.

I urgot about it1 votesI climbed as support, but I duo'd with a friend who is the same rank and climbed with him You kind of need good luck with support of you aren't duoing so I mained mid once I got to plat and climbed pretty fast I wouldn't say it's impossible but you need to know how to carry bot and how to not get caught when warding, once you know that you'll win 90% of the support games if you have a decent adc Why do you ask :o
HexaDecimel1 votesWell I tend to play a lot of bots but recently I have started to try Normals. I still don't play a ton of pvp because my internet can be iffy and I don't want to be "that guy". However, I do my best to watch streamers, pro play, and take in as much strategy and tips as I can.
Anyway, I have got in about 50 matches so far playing mostly support and win roughly two for every one loss. The competition has started to ramp up and I find a lot of silvers and golds in my matches, so I assume that I would fall somewhere in mid to high silver when I start ranked one day.
I have noticed that in more then a few of my lost matches it wasn't because my lane lost but because the enemy snowballed in a different lane. I enjoy being support but in a losing match there is very little I can do to turn things around. I am not saying I haven't been able to make some game changing plays, it is just feels more difficult to do so. I still need to put in a lot of work in positions outside of Support, but would it be better to focus on a different position all together? When the day comes that I start ranked I would like to know if I can climb with support.

I urgot about it1 votesIt's honestly all up to you You can climb with any role The thing with support is that you usually want to roam mid, especially if you are Leona or thresh You do this when you don't have to back and your adc does or you just see an oppurtunity Some people say support is the hardest to carry with but others say it's the easiest, it just depends on the perspective

466 games is somewhere between 155.3 hours( if every game surrenders at 20) min) and 349 hours( if every game ran for 45 min) in either case that is a ridiculous number of hours just to escape ELO hell. And next season you will be placed right back in it. At the very least the new champion mastery system should effect lp lost if not gained as well. A player who ranks S on a champion does not deserve to be shoved down the ladder the same amount as a player who ranks D. This would also reinforce the importance of maining a champ.
