Ugh, always hated going up against a good Six Samurai deck.

especially when your deck revolve around stronger monster cards as your main method of winning, or your deck doesn't have many special summon effect monster which means it's hard to compete with its infinte chain summoning mechanic.

(honestly i think season1 yugioh is the best, everything after than is just going down hill. too much new mechanics and systematic decks which means it's not about making your own deck by putting together cards but buy decks with built in strategies. stuff like samurai cards are useless in other decks.)

That's how they get their money. It's a company, after all. Like Riot, they can't favor balance over profits. Zed isn't getting nerfs because to the unexperienced player or the non-player (in other words, the biggest customers and the potential customers), he is the absolute most fun champion to watch play. A dark, edgy shadow-ninja who can teleport and kill enemies while laughing darkly? Yeah. He might as well be their logo. Ninjas are always in.

Likewise, though using a necessarily different business strategy, new decks are completely structured around you buying certain specific cards so you can win for a few months before they'e banned. After which, the cycle repeats and you buy the new broke cards before they're banned.

I agree with you but I still liked the GX anime, after that though definitely downhill.

Gem-Knights forever!!!!

Is ARC-V actually good? The first few episodes made me cringe the way the MC was and how duels are now portrayed as instead of serious matches.

Yes. They are actually going across dimension to the past series to stop a war. They just finished visiting 5D's world (fought and befriend Jack and Crow) and now they are in the Zexal world which is.....

Yeah.

BTW: the villains are the fusion dimension (aka GX world)

The hero is dealing with multiple personality and a darkness inside him.

Its what happens when players get competitive. A meta develops and the game has to be designed around that outcome.

Oh wait were we talking about yugioh?

The Deckowner1 votes

yugioh meta right now is completely decided by which broken deck they decide to release tho, there is no need for developing strategies anymore, buy any constructed deck and there is already a fully constructed strategy in it, and it is usually broken as fuck.

Thats why I switched to Magic. Expensive af to make a good deck. But you are not limited by card type unless you doing tribal or some shit like that.

ArtMurder1 votes

Literally the only deck i would use in tournaments. Before they banned the passive card

Sisters100861 votes

how is light and dark dragon in current meta? Haven't play for years

The deck was fine after they banned Gateway of the Six, that card literally was the definition of clinical depression. Of course the power creep is even worse now and the game "died" after the Ritual Nekroz fiasco. I however stopped getting new cards/keeping up with the meta after the release of the new Monarch cards. I'll still play my old Yang Zing deck with friends but I don't spend any money/that much time in the game anymore.
