If you want to deal with her high scaling damage (which has always been her identity) you'd have to push her either towards high-bases, higher AP scaling, or outright full-tank which I don't think anyone would be okay with

sejuani wasn't that overwhelming until that buff, and seeing the full force of that w in action makes you wonder why she not being picked still, she plenty strong and tanky, and she has one of the most annoying (in my opinon) ults to deal with when team fighting. she throws it out and you know that your fked when it hits you. i haven't played sejuani since season 4 because i rarely go jungle now (learning other roles) but i think i might pay her a visit again considering i did well with her pre-buff.

the ww players had this issue for a patch or 2, some nerfs then everyone moved on and we were left with a wolf worse off then we started.

I deleted my ADC rune page and had rito delete some champs from my account (so I don't get mystery skins I don't want) including all the ADCs. I literally cannot ADC anymore, and it maybe affects me 1 in 100 games bc I just tell my team ahead of time, so unless I'm last pick AND no one took ADC even though I told them I can't do it, then I don't have too. That 1 in 100 games I can just dodge or if it's promos I can tell team I'll grab heimer bot since he can push fast, so they should grab a bit of AD damage in top/mid/jungle somewhere so the enemy doesn't just stack MR if no one is gonna ADC. Honestly we have a better chance of winning w/ me doing that than if I played ADC anyway lol.

I know this all too well. Except Sej's popularity will pass. I'm STILL waiting on Vi's to pass. I've been maining Vi since day one for no other reason than I enjoy her theme, voice and character. But around mid season 3 she was pick up in the LCS and people realized she could catch those slippery assassins. (Lb, Zed, any other mobility assassin) She got some love taps but was a constant pick in season 3. She remained a dominate pick around the time Jarvan came back into the jungle all the way to this season. Now she's STILL a favorite pick because she hasn't recieved many changes, and with the new tank meta she can do her job a hell of alot better by diving assassins and carries.
And now my second favorite, Shyvana is getting picked and banned because of the damn LC$.

Still have tower pushing power, and as long as AD damage is somewhere on the team, I've actually seen it work a couple times if you can win by mid game and not go to like 40+ minutes.

20 minutes: Team tries to surrender, I vote no because I see the game is winnable (200 CS while everyone on the enemy team has only around 100 (yeah, this was when my MMR was crap and I played with Silvers)) and Yi votes no to be a troll
40 minutes: We win, I'm 18/4/20, Yi shuts up around the 30 minute mark when I get a Quadra Me- "Yi, don't ban my mains and maybe the game'll be less painful yeah?" Yi- Leaves

No one was like "OMG kill yourself uninstall why do you play?" but definitely had a couple ADC games this season where my team laughed if they were carrying me, and one game where they couldn't someone suggested I just don't ADC anymore if I am really that bad at it. Guess what, they're right. I don't ADC, and if you're that bad at it then don't do it.
There are two options here if you're bot lane and no one else will ADC (well really three since the second option is a double option).
The first is the old throw back double bruiser bot lane. Get two tanky bruisers w/ some CC and a little burst damage (J4 and Maokai, you could probably throw an Annie in, but she doesn't make use of the relic shield health so meh), and go for the kill lane. You MUST get ahead in this lane. The enemy WILL out scale you, but double relic shield means you can split the CS somewhat and have a lot of HP regen to trade a ton early. If you can shut the enemy down you have a tanky dive team that can just start tower diving and push hard in the mid game to win before you get out scaled.
The second is to take a high damage AP champ bot and get your team to bring AD from mid/jungle/top. The most common thing I've seen here is grab like Karthus since he scales ridiculously with items, kinda like an ADC would. Personally I like taking Heimer bot bc I want the power to push, and if your team gets ahead at all you can walk up drop an ult q and two little q turrets under tower, and since they don't aggro tower until they laser the enemy team will back off pretty often before you dive, and if you do dive they have taken damage before your team takes aggro and starts the real dive. (Plus Heimer turrets push super fast, so if you win a team fight he serves the same purpose as an ADC post team fight in that he can take towers down fast.)

T RexHasTinyArms1 votesOh hell yeah, but that's why I say hey, I can't adc, if you want to run double bruiser bot I can, or I can take a scaling mage bot if we have AD chaps mid, top, or jungle. They may be like "just play ADC" but people generally come around if you answer that you don't want to lose, and even though bruiser bot or a mage might not be as good as ADC they are better options than your ability to play adc :D most people figure out it's not trolling at that point.

A mistake in communication (that was entirely my fault) made me pick ADC Ashe with a "support" ADC Varus. I asked my team to just have fun, and it led to me building

Honestly, all you need to do then is try out some other mage characters (or other mid-laners for that matter) and see if you can find a new one that you like. Me, I'm always open to experiment with a champ that catches my attention, even if I don't do particularly well with them my first few times.
