When they haven't played it in years.

Yea because people that never played it in years don't deserve it to be fixed and ever playable right?

Apparently when it was initially released, it only received a huge burst of attention AT FIRST, and then everyone went back to the Rift after a few weeks. It's VERY difficult to recover from that. The rules and mechanics of Crystal Scar are much different from the Rift or even Twisted Treeline or ARAM, which makes it difficult to create new champions or items when they're all being balanced around the Rift. If the Rift is baseball, then Dominion is Cricket. They may seem the same, but the rules are substantially different, and it's a waste of time trying to create new content to appeal to both worlds. It's better to just focus on the (more successful) one.

If you can't create new content for the map than disable new content from being available. "We can't make jhin work" oh well.. disable jhin from the map,

I'd rather keep the gamemode permanantly stuck in one version than remove it entirely because it doesn't work in a current version.

Yes, because Dominion is that bitch from Splinter Cell while SR is Solid Snake. Inevitably SR will learn of Dominion's existence and slaughter him silently in the night. He's just been too busy taking down the Metal Gear that is jungle and old SR first. Riot is just giving it a merciful end vs. the apocalyptic, Smores flavored Schnapps induced hellscape that is the vengeance of SR.......may god have mercy upon Twisted Treeline......

The map was still insanely popular in customs..the only reason nobody played it in its' actual game mode is because Riot refuses to give it attention and balance it/update it.

People are complaining because it got removed without even getting a chance with Riot. TT got attention. ARAM gets attention. SR gets too much fking attention. Dominion is just there being ignored.

This is literally Riot's fault in every way and instead of owning up to it and fixing it they're saying "we fucked up and you're going to pay for it" the community has a right to complain about that

How are we paying for it? They're removing a game mode that no one really plays on a regular basis, and one that they admitted they have no plans for. If they invested resources to try and make it appeal to people again (who really cares?), then people will bitch that they are "spending too much time trying to force players to play a shitty game mode that no one cares about", to quote a comment from an alternate timeline.

I'll tell you how we are going to pay for it. With RP......when we buy more skins so Riot can afford to do more good things that people will bitch about XD XD XD XD

Some people actually LIKE the map in customs. Some people actually LIKE the mode. Some people WANT to play dominion but CAN'T because of the imbalance.

Those people are losing something that (probably) makes them even bothering playing league just because Riot refuses to fix it. They're too lazy to do that so they're just scrapping the thing as a whole

When a billion dollar company says "we don't have the resource" that's them being lazy as shit

"This is literally Riot's fault in every way" ....XD hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha .....then one because you legitimately don't understand why I"m laughing....XD hahahahahahhahahahahahahaha...........then one more because you actually think you do...XD hahahahahahahahaha

Riot wants to allocate any resources they were using on Dominion to Summoner's Rift.

The problem is, they haven't actually made anything for Summoner's Rift that will take the resources from Dominion yet.

And, given Riot's track record, until it's actually in the game, there's no guarantee that we'll get anything.
