How to hard counter Caitlyn
Just play Jinzo. Since Jinzo negates all traps on the field, Caitlyn can't play hers

But then Jinzo is countered by "Forced Back" in a normal summon. (believe it or not, Forced Back is a counter trap)
Counter Traps still work in the gray area between summon attempt and success when said summon is not due to an activated spell/trap/monster effect.
Also, you still have to stop Caitlyn's ability to pierce your monsters and hit your LP directly.
He's a way better counter to Teemo if you ask me

Then I activate my Black Lotus to summon my Pikachu ex in sideways mode.
