ACTUALLY... nas qing ghuls means he isn't qing minions, and thus the lane starts pushing against him, and he loses out on minion stacks. you can cheat him of cs by constantly distracting him with ghouls. and cho ghoul is just a waste of an ulti.

By today's standards, he isn't even very unfun. Like Teemo, he's been completely overshadowed by newer, more toxic kits. In the case of Yorick, he was only even truly oppressive for like 1 patch after he was overbuffed. Otherwise, he's never actually been more frustrating than the likes of Tryndamere or Irelia. A lot of people just see Yorick so rarely that they have no idea how to deal with him, and will probably never learn since it'll likely be another 150 games until they see another Yorick.

There is this weird running joke that Yorick has no counters, but its simply untrue. There are plenty of champs that statistically counter him and have the tools to destroy him all game long. People just don't bother to learn his counterplay.

That's just cause riot nerfed him into the ground in season 2 when he singlehandedly destroyed top lane.

If you go digging on the old forums theres more yorick hate posts than yasuo hate posts are now. He really did have no counters and your top laner really couldn't do anything if the other team got him other than hope he didn't end the game before 35 minutes.

To be honest, that would be an awful, awful, awful idea. Also, there are more Yorick players than you might think. I mained Yorick for a while and he is still one of my top 3 most played champs. We might be a smallish group compared to some champion playerbases, but if Riot did something as horrible as that, a good portion of us would flood the boards with feedback.

I understand that you are referring to the Mordekaiser situation. Most of the people asking for Morde reverts are indeed real Morde players. They too might be small in number, but it's amazing how loud a small group can get when one of their primary champions becomes unplayable.

Any Yorick rework needs to keep him viable in top and jungle (yes he can jungle). A proper Mordekaiser rework would have kept him viable in top in mid, but it wasn't a proper rework in the slightest. Hopefully, Riot learned from all of the people who fought the good fight to give feedback in Morde's case and are continuing to do so.

Well You know Sion and Karma had playerbases too, and Riot straight up deleted those champions when they got Reworked.

Poppy was probably the first assassin I ever picked up, and she got reworked, and the boards LOVED it.

Basically, if they throw in a visual update to go along with the Rework, nobody cares about the old mains.
