Yeah, I hate that excuse so much... you can't simply kite as a melee. ESPECIALLY against Tahm who has almost the highest 'melee' range in the game(minus upgraded melees like Aatrox ult).
Not to mention Tahm's Q is almost instantaneous so its easy to land the mega slow. Even if you do dodge it the low-ass cooldown and mana lets him do it again very soon.
