Don't see the problems with Taric and Sejuani, their new visual are cool and are funny to play.
nop
Why no?
new sej is generic and bland cc bot, no variance and forced teamwork
taric used to have a strong kit with weak ult, now he has an overpowered ult with shitty spells
oh and taric looks fuckin dumb now

Taric's old kit was the definition of a dying men screaming [kill me!] in what way was it strong? I remember all the posts with hundreds of upvotes explain in details how taric is the worst champion and how he is in dire need of a rework... is everyone just gonna randomly turn and say all these champions where master pieces? what happened to all the praise Taric's rework received when it came out ?
Sorry I couldn't keep my cool, I think the tumor in my brain is expanding from all these posts I'm seeing recently...

taric was never bad since i started playing in s4. old taric was a fighter/support hybrid and did something unique (armor aura/armor shred on a support) new taric? nothing new at all, W is stolen from Lulu and R is stolen from Kayle
And old sej was a generic and bland cc bot too ...
no she wasn't, she was a lategame dps tank, other tanks didn't do what she did. riot threw that out so she could do the exact same job naut and poppy and galio and zac already do

And Riot has been taking perma or near-perma auras away for the most part, they're aren't too many left, mainly Abyssal Mask and Sej's permafrost sharing (but that's only for melees).
And as for the fact that his abilities were stolen from others, his W allows all of his other abilities to be cast from the target, which can allow him to cc enemies while staying back as a Warden, his ult is teamwide but delayed, whereas Kayle's is single target and instantaneous. If we're pulling that card, I guess Galio stole Malphie's ult and Tahm Kench and current Ryze stole TF's.

First off, if she was to be "late game dps", that's more juggernaut territory. She was supposed to be an actual tank, which is more CC focused, and that's where they tried to push her.
Second, her dps was just a Sunfire Cape-esque ability alongside Cinderhulk. Depnding on when you use R, you entered the battle, hit W, and walked around pressing E for a small slow. If you didn't use R to engage, you used it to get a 4-5 man stun and make the fight a sure win. Her power budget was loaded into that ult. Little interaction for the most part.
Well, given that Sej, Naut, Poppy, Maokai, Zac, and Galio are all tanks, they all have relatively the same job, just different ways of going about it.

since the beginning of time sejuani has been respected for having a monster late game, because she traded a good tank steroid for scaling damage. she was unique because of her ult and her power curve. new sej -- nothing, all original charm and appeal was deleted. forced reliance on teammates is a dog shit design

doesn't mean a thing. she was late game dps. how she went about doing it doesn't matter; that was her niche and it made her distinct. take that niche and give it more counterplay, im fine with that. there is nothing unique, new, or original about being a champion who dumps their CC on you and then ignores you until their cooldowns are back up.

nothing is wrong with this. in fact this is exactly what
is now but you're trying to tell me his rework was good. LOL

homogeneity is great, is what you're saying

Except, that's effectively what you didnas old Sejuani. Like I said, Once you activated W you were effectively just walking around the team, maybe hitting E if available. You didn't have to anything to apply it other than walk unless the enemy dashed or flashed away from you.
Now? Stunned one person, move to the next. Items like Trinity Force and Wit's end can help you get your auto's off to stack, especially if you're lacking in melee, and IBG can help keep your enemy slowed and in range, and is great at the start of a fight given how much armour you enter a fight with.
See, for me, her charm is still there. I never played her for what damage she dealth and most of the time didn't even notice it. When I played her before the rework it was because I liked the idea of a warrior wading straight into the battle, or flanking like a cavalry (especially with DMP). To me, she still has that feel, and that's what I love about her. Just haven't played her as much recently because I've been working on climbing with Maokai, and my jungle skills aren't the greatest.

Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said it was good. An improvement on old taric, yes. My point above was more about how you were saying his rework stole abilities.
Personally, I hate invincibility like that. Taric's, Kayle's, Tryn's. The only nice thing about Taric's between those three is his requires better timing.
The main thing I like about Taric is bouncing his W between allies as needed and multi-angle stun.
homogeneity is great, is what you're saying
My point was they all do the same job but differently. Assassin's are the same way, in which their job is to blow up squishies, but they all have different ways of going about that burst.
Tanks are CC oriented champs, but they all go about it differently.
Nautilus is more single target CC focused. His Q only hit's one. His ropt is tied to his auto, so while he could root multiple, it requires an auto on each one. His E is an AoE slow, W is a shield with DoT, and his ult is a single target tracking knockup that can hit multiple targets depending on positioning.
Poppy is more of a Warden. She has a slow on her Q, which is only a small area. E is a knockback/charge, and a stun if it hit's a wall. W makes people who try to use mobilitly around her stop and bounce, and also passives buffs her armour and MR. And her ult is a massive knockback toward the enemy fountain, which is best for disengages, counter-engages, and straight up denials (oh, your jungler wants to contest baron? "Remember to roll!")
Maokai's got a slow on his saplings, a slow and knockback on Q, a single target root on W, and a massive AoE root on his ult, with cc duration scaling with distance traveled. For when he's in a fight, his passive helps him stay alive, especially when hit by casters.
Zac...I actually have no experience with. From what I've seen, a slow on Q latched with a displace if the second cast hit's another target. E has a knockup, and ult can be a massive displacement tool when charged or can be either a simple knockup. In my understanding Zac always had some of the higher damages for tanks.
Galio is very wave clear oriented, has an AoE taunt on W, which is also his damage reduction ability, but it slows him while charging. E is a short dash with a knockup, cannot cross terrain. His ult goves an ally damage reduction and a very telegraphed knockup/entrance.
Sejuani has the knockup on her Q, a slow on W, her E, which can be applied to multiple targets, and then her ult is now a single target long range stun with an AoE slow attached to it that deals more damage at the end.
They all have the same job of disrupting the enemy team, whether as a Vanguard or Warden, but they all have different tools to do so. That's homogeneous on overall person, but heterogeneous in application.
How dare you put Morde there.
i h8 rework feels bad

I can't be the only one who misses old taric. Whether I was ad top taric or regular support taric: no one expected the damage I'd dish out :(
