Teemo gets bad rep as a meme these days. Most people that do it didn't even play against teemo when he was the embodyment of evil. Not pointing fingers at you OP i don't know you, just giving a serious response to a comic thread...someone needs to do it...

The gag could just die personaly. I've seen champions being hated and then stopped as a flavour of the month. One day they're weak, another they're strong, the bitching comes and goes...

But for Teemo? No matter what happens to him, there's always gonna be complaints about him. Teemo could literaly do 1 damage on all abilities and auto attacks with no scalings and even if his shrooms didn't slow, there would STILL be somebody complaining!

Its mostly because of his laning phase that most remember him. His blind, his poison, his surprising burst, and his high mobility makes him a monster to face for a good chunk of champs.

Course, times have changed, their are lots of champs that make mincemeat of teemo now, and with the higher emphasis of teamwork the latter seasons have implemented have caused him to only really be a problem if he's ahead.

Teemo was the devil, but he didn't get better or worse. The game just changed around him. Now the only thing that remains are the teemo mains and his legacy.

A bad legacy for some recent Teemo main like me. Who's been fighting to make the game enjoyable and not acting like an asshole. But that won't change how people will see me as, now will it?

So now I'm stuck living with my main through my games, despite the fact that he's being hated almost every game. Another reason I stick to unranked is because if I want to enjoy the game, ranked won't do me any good.

I was trying to think of a stupid League joke today and this was the only one I could think of. Honestly I don't mind Teemo all that much, unless I happen to be BAD (Basic attack dependent). Then he can go die in a fire.

Ultimately I'll have to play him on my Mastery 5 Crusade, and I rue the day that I'll have to go through all the assassins and Teemo. People hate you if you pick him, loathe you if you're bad with him, and scorn you if you're good with him.

I used to main teemo and i know the feeling. You carry the game really hard and even your team finds a reason to bash you for it. Personally i abuse the global taunt he has and just emote laugh for a while. The enemy will tunel you every time you do it. Easy bait for a shroom field or a good gank.
