It doesn't slow anyone as ice does, only a fool would think of it as Ice
Sand is eturnum if you belive nothing lasts long look at sand it's durable and flexible it is hard aswell. It lays under tremendous pressure in the Ocean and under Scorching heat in the desert. Fight against it and sand leaves you defeated. Its roughness scratches, it's composition is too light and waterlike for you to hurt it. Fight sand with Respect and praise if you ever dare decide to.

Sand is to rock, as water is to ice. In fantasy, if you can manipulate sand you can essentially manipulate rock. all you do is compact it, you don't need to chisel or break rock, you just need sand and imagination. Water on the other hand, needs temperature to change it back and forth from ice. Sand>Water
