Remember When It Took Riot Like 1 1/2+ Years to Rework/VGU Sion and Poppy?
Dang, those were dark times.

Yeah, the old Sion and Poppy were weird. It's like they sucked and were OP at the same time and building them as an existing class was a bad idea.
Thank goodness that's over.
thank goodness, we could have had 2 melees that could actually carry games
but clever riot knew that we needed more tanks
Yeah. The less melee carries, the better. After all, who wants another Yasuo?
ur rite only ranged champs should be carries
all hail our ranged overlords
Still better than multiple Yasuos.
yasss my ADC massa I should only play tanks top massa
You have never experienced the majesty that is full AD Sion, my friend.
"An 800 lbs axe-wielding monstrosity has been seen lurking in the bushes."
"Extreme caution is advised."
Didn't old Sion fall of late game? That kinda negates the whole "carry" ability.
AP sion did
AD crit sion? no
As far as I remember Sion was considered trash in both AP and AD path. Dude was literally kited harder than any existing Juggernaut, his autoattack animation was so bad that he literally stunned himself every time he did it and couldn't keep up with anyone, single Q took more than half of his mana and his lack of mobility made him easy target for junglers. These drawbacks made it super hard to utilize his bonus damage from E and ridiculous lifesteal, he struggled against both burst team comps and poke team comps. Yeah he was considered as OP in S2 but people back then didn't know how to deal with half of the things in game. In S3 and S4 he was essentially considered as a troll pick.

Yeah it was like a 50/50 chance whether or not Old!Poppy would go 0/15/0 or be a _**literally unkillable **_carry machine. I love new Poppy so much moreeee.
Was it that fast? I thought it was more like 5 years.
