I did do 600 damage to her with Q, just not at level 6.

People seem to think that Bard isn't supposed to do damage, but I've had games where I end up the AP carry on the team as Bard.
Real bard players go AD + attack speed...

I've done more off-role adcs than I can count, even getting a pentakill on old soraka built as adc. I gotta say, adc bard is hot trash. It just doesn't matter what you build on the champ, he will always be good at what he's good at. It's a fun gimmick and it doesn't really stop you from doing what you want to on bard but unless you roll a a 5 magic damage comp and need some physical damage I'd say avoid it at all costs.
AP bard is pretty fun though, just a bit short ranged so you have a hard time getting your damage off without dying in the lategame. AP bruiser is probably the best but where's the fun in that.
I've had a funny case of this too, I was accused of hacking by a Fizz (who, at the time, was higher rank than I was - Gold 3, whereas I was Gold 5 back then). The funny part is the "hacking" I was taking part in was Fizz' screen going dark whenever I fly on him. I was playing Nocturne. You can't make this sh*t up sometimes.
Reminds me of electrocute bard! \o/ He will feed the carry, He just might not agree with the adc on who the carry is.
