Riven All of the experimental EDGE related changes for Riven's passive and R have been REVERTED. Riven is now back to her live functionality and values. ricklessabandon tweeted out that that he's done with tests this cycle and the changes will be back for testing in 5.21 PBE.

WHAT?! that is some serious bullshit that Rivens changes got canceled, yet Mordes changes went through without riot even listening to the MANY people who knew it was a bad idea... sigh at least there are still going to be changes to her, just not sure what they'll be or how they will affect her :(

bruh, it's common for changes to be tested for like a week, then get pulled because of the next incoming PBE cycle, then get put back up for more testing after that next cycle is applied. don't fret

it's already been tweeted that the rework was only shelved and not abandoned.

like the syndra changes they were working on earlier, she's just gonna get pulled out again later.

its was predicted somewhere around 5.20-5.21

Morde had a rework on the PBE that got cancelled at one point. Some of the elements from that rework came back for his Juggernaut rework though.

Riven mains actually didn't mind the change, it wouldn't affect them.

Meanwhile people who play riven just because she's strong would have greatly suffered from this change, because they'd deal less damage spamming skills.

I really wanted this change, we'd see a lot less Rivens, the mains would be happy and the "Play what I think is op" players would move on to someone else.

I stand corrected, one of two. Still, I think Super Mega Death Rocket is fine where it is, aiming that thing is hard, and combined with the fact it needs to ramp up to do substantial damage (ignoring the innate execute) I think it's fine, but Wind Slash being an AoE Execute is a load of shit.

Riven's ult isn't a real execute it just increased in damage by 200 percent at a max of 75 percent missing HP, Quinn's ult also works that way but it has no cap but it's 1 percent Riven is 2.67 percent, also Jinx ult is also an AOE
