Meh, he's not THAT strong anymore after the hotfix. The thing that made him strong is that he could clear the jungle insanely quick, and outlevel anyone. They nerfed his clearspeed, so now he's just ''strong''

Dont run an assassin mid

Early sightstone bot and ward drag often when its up/close to being up

Invade early if you are able to; Malz gets severely fucked up early game with invades. After the hotfix, its really hard for him to clear a camp without it resetting as-is, toss in jungle pressure.... If you take his blue, hes not going to be doing early objectives.
