Chosen Yi has an energy sword, and that's not an uncommon trope in sci-fi worlds--definitely not exclusive to star wars.

There's a difference between a reference and just straight out copyright infringement.

"Death Star" Vel'Koz wouldn't work, but "Cosmic Devourer" Vel'Koz or whatever could work. The whole "multiple lazers combining into one death laser" would obviously be a reference to the Death Star, but legal friendly.

Unless they upgrade Battlecast to legendary, I don't see me using a legendary Vel skin.

It all depends on a person's preference. I used battlecast until arclight came out and I just like the gold effects and vo better on that one.

Oh, I'd still buy a legendary skin for Vel'Koz, just not necessarily use it. He doesn't have any bad skins, and I don't particularly expect that to change.
