Did they play AD or AP Ashe? What was the match up? I love Ash, but feel like there are better ADC's in bot lane. Have been experimenting with mids to not a great degree of success.

You could experiment as Support Ashe. She has good poke and peel, and you actually get to make use of her passive, if nothing else. Items like Zeke's Herald, Black Cleaver and Runaan's hurricane help you become a true AD support. Early game, i'd suggest starting out with the relic shield or the coin.

I tried Ashe support with Draven ADC against Blitzcrank support and Ashe ADC. By 20-ish minutes, our support was doing more damage than enemy ADC.

Only Ashe's ult scales off of AP, so I see no real reason to go AP Ashe. I actually enjoy Ashe mid as well, she's a good counter to certain team comps (unfortunately, the new tank meta is not one of them). I usually build Tear, Brutalizer, Last Whisper, CDR boots, then finish Manamune as my core. Then the rest of my items I'll build based on matchups. Going against champs like Fizz mid get wrecked by Ashe in my experience.

Wow. First off, that was an amazingly fast response :)

If someones a jerk and makes another person go on tilt, that person can't just push a button and go off tilt because the other guys not being a jerk anymore. The damage was already done. You're gonna give em a free pass for being a bigot just cause they temporarily stopped being one? You guys being so lenient is the biggest reason why this place is such a dreadful mass of stress and rage.

The tri force is the least offensive part of the build. wits end is ok i guess...but you built basically: 30% 25% 50% 70% 40%

215% attack speed....if you just replaced one of those with some damage, i think you would find it would work out a little better.

personally id drop the wits end or hurricane for an infinity edge

The idea, I think, was the on-hit effects applied through Runaan's. 42 Magic Damage, 5 MR reduction/increase, 5% armor reduction and 8% physical current health dmg for each attack on up to 3 targets (4 with MF's Q).

As for the attack speed: MF's base attack speed is 0.656. Bonus through lvl 18, items and AS quints: 279.7%, being 1.834832 -> 2.490832 in total, which is close to the cap, but it doesn't exceed it. The bigger problem is probably the lack of immediate armor/magic penetration. If you can't just stand there and attack for the Wit's End/Cleaver stacks, everything remotely tanky will just shrug it off like a late-game Janna AA. And the single-target damage, of course, which is ultimately pretty low compared to a standard ADC build. It has it's merits - and it's flaws. ;>

As a MF main I feel safe to say she's one of the strongest ADCs in game right now. You can pretty much build any AD item in any order and carry. You can't really totally counter build her since her auto attacks and abilities both do mixed damage (yes MF auto attacks do magic damage too)

Well not when she scales mid game harder than most mages and can roam as fast as an assassin. Also she counters assassins. People forget that a devastating early and mid game can prevent a late game. All you need is pressure.

My friend once played Attack Damage Janna Jungle, in Ranked Solo Queue. He told me that his teammates had no faith in him, and even stole his jungle camps at level 1. Then he, playing AD Janna, got a quadra kill during a team fight. Always trust your teammates.

it's so when they lose, they can blame the loss on the one guy and deflect all responsibility, thus reinforcing this logic the next time it happens to justify it.

I think it's confirmation bias, or something. People will forget the 100 times breaking the meta works, and focus on the one time it didn't.
