I am a seal, eating oatmeal, dreaming of kills to steal, when I saw the spotlight video about Camille's heels. When I saw her kneel, I thought "get real! Another assassin I have to peel?!"

It's no joke; in fact, it's quite real. The new assassin has a self-heal. I have no idea how I should feel. Assassin mains must be ready to squeal.

Many will ask "What's the big deal? Camille will be another fifth wheel!" I don't like to say it, but I agree with their peal. More assassins in this game is less than ideal.

But I like to think their complaints they'll repeal When they find out her damage output's unreal. Damage and kills: the assassin's appeal. Everyone wants to be the big wheel.

Her bladed legs may be made of steel but Riot's not banking on her sex appeal. Oh, the chaos she'll sow; the kills she will steal! The minions she will turn into veal! When she's released, she'll be a big deal. In due time, we'll come to dread Camille.

Can I just say that she's more of a fighter duelist-type fighter, like Fiora?

Duelist/assassin. Fighters tend to be better at either crowd fighting or can at least hold their own in a brawl. Camille looks like she has to depend on her mobility, self-heal and passive to survive a fight, and she is DEFINITELY designed to isolate one target and murder the crap out of them, as an assassin does (especially now).

This follows a pattern Riot regularly employs. Every time they release a class update, one of their next champions is that of the class that was changed.

When the supports were updated in Season 4, we got Braum (after Yasuo) When the Juggernauts were created, we got Illaoi. When the ADCs were updated, we got Jhin (after getting Aurelion Sol) When the mages were updated, we got Taliyah. Now that the assassins got their update, we have Camille.

True, but she's classified as a Fighter, just like Fiora is, and Fiora also does the same job: isolates and kills a single target and kills them. Primary difference is, Fiora can, after killing that single target with her ultimate, often wind up killing the rest of the enemy team as well. Camille will definitely be able to hold her own in fights without just diving the squishiest target she sees, killing them, and then dying, likely by using her ultimate to isolate them while she kills them.
