Need Help with Playing

When I play, it's usually a Co-op vs AI, and sometimes PvP. I use either Tryndamere and Shen , but I also own MasterYi , TwistedFate , Ashe , Malphite , and Kayle . But the thing is, I'm usually crap. I would use Tryndamere and not do too much damage even though he is one of the most damaging Champions out there. I'm not saying I do little damage, but always less than 4/5 of the opponents team. Even when I play on a Co-op, I usually have my scoreboard 2/1/7 at the end of the game. When I play with Tryndamere on PvP, I'm not always the worst player, but out of 10 I'm at most 3/10 best player. One game of PvP I was 19/7/12 or something, but that was just one game. And when I use Shen I do such little damage people don't even worry about getting killed by me. I find myself pressing W and E in a 1v1 so much just to try and escape because it's the only chance of survival. Here are the things at the shop that I use in order:

Tryndamere :item 3074 , item 3087 , item 3072 , item 3046 , item 3031 , item 3104 .

Shen : item 3065 , item 3074 , item 3083 , item 3068 , item 3022 , item 3091 .

And I know at least some of these items would be good, I just usually only get to the first 3 before my team loses or wins. And the thing is, I'm usually pretty good at video games. I can win almost every game of Minecraft survival games, and become the MVP with a FAL on BO2. I just want to know what you guys think.

If you want to help, please give me a item set that would be good for Tryndamere or Shen , or leave some tips. Just please don't say that since I'm good in other games that's no match for LoL. If you're good at most video games, chances are you're half decent at a few more.

Thanks.

Actually for an early level summoner, you are building quite well. The trick to Tryndamere doing damage is his rage bar (the red bar under his health) he has a higher chance to do critical damage when it is full. Don't empty it until it begins to drop or you absolutely have to during a fight.

Shen Isn't meant to do much damage. He is built to be a tank. When you play him you are basically there to absorb as much damage as you can and use your abilities to help your team out. That's why he has his shield and taunt. You taunt the enemy so they attack you rather than someone squishy on your team and shield yourself so you can take more damage.

Keep playing though, you'll get it!! You are ahead of where I was at that point.

This isn't a meme or a game.

You say you're usually one of the worst in the co-op vs AI games, but that's natural. It all comes with practice. I don't know what the matchmaking for the co-op vs AI games is like, but you're most likely matched up with more experienced teammates.

Or smurfs. A smurf is someone playing on a lower level account. Sucks to get matched up with some of them, but eventually you start running into fewer.

My point is, it's somewhat natural for a new player to not be doing very good. Just keep trying your best and you should improve eventually.
