Which is one of the main reasons why yugioh isn't fun anymore and people barely play it, loads of overpowered bullshit that synergized ONLY with the desired cards and have super broken effects ruined the game.

I wish yugioh stopped at the first serie.

thing is theres other cards (like fire fist cardinal) who can disable that effect and make those cards explode basically. the op shit has counters but you need to learn em.

but most of the counter invincibility cards are either banned or limited, with all the synchro bullshit getting 3k monster in 2or 3 turns it really isn't fun anymore.

Well, drawing it gives you a permanent one card advantage for free. Having 5 cards in your hand when the other guy has 4, all things being equal, is huge. Except for some really weird cases you ALWAYS want to draw it so yeah i see why its banned.

Yeah... I've seen those Synchro cards.... They are kinda BS...

Then again MTG has its own BS cards as well... BUT they aren't as ridiculous as those, okay some are bonkers strong like the final ability on this Planeswaker: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Image.ashx?multiverseid=413599&type=card

Though its more enjoyable in MTG. At least with most decks it takes more then 5 turns to get going!

I think the pendulum cards are more bs..... I didn't see much, but if I recall, there's like 2 monsters you can set that isn't part of the monster field i think, I don't know if they can attack, but basically these monsters have levels on them, if you have any monsters that are between the 2 summoned pendulum monsters, you can special summon them

So basically you can play it as a Monster in the Monster Zone or a Spell in a Pendulum Zone. It has different effects for each casting, but when it occupies a Pendulum Zone you also note the number that correlates to the pendulum side it was placed on. Once per turn you can summon as many monsters in your hand as you damn well please so long as their level is between the Red and Blue numbers in your Zones.

you need two pendulum monsters to do it. and most pendulum monsters have something to not keep em there, (er nvm thats mostly just amorphage which just says nope to everyone)

There definitely have been various instances of First Turn Kill, One Turn Kill, and infinite lockdown combos in Yu-Gi-Oh. I don't know about many of them, but I'm fairly certain some combos existed that let you draw your entire deck in a single turn... which is very strong when there are cards that let you instantly win if you have all of them in your hand. Since Yu-Gi-Oh allows cards from any set to be used, they maintain a very large and active banlist to get rid of those strategies.

The ban list in MTG formats is relatively small depending on which format your playing (compared to how many cards exist in that format).
