I got pretty unlucky there I guess. Paid 25€ 4.1k RP buys Taliyah skin for 1.350 after 7 months of playing without a skin. rest 2.8k spent in chests get 5 poro fragments I'm left with 2 fragments now and I'm thinking about spending yet more money to get a last fragment [zombie-nunu-bummed]

At least you have a level 7. I'm just too lazy to stick to one champion for very long. One game it's Poppy top and the next is Galio mid. Other people's match history looks like 15 Jhin games in a row.

The W changes hit me hard too. I stopped playing her for about 2 months, before picking her up again. I usually play everything with smartcast, but I couldn't with her new W. Change smart cast to normal cast on her W and you should be good to go. It's been half a year almost since the W changes, so I can't really remember it so good anymore. But I think the W without smart cast is a bit like it was without vector cast. Her matchups are often difficult. Her waveclear, especially early game is really mana heavy. She loses to any assasin. Once an enemy gets close to her, she can only flash away. The W is really unreliable if someone gets close to you, because the circle is really small and it's easily predictable. You should ask your jungler for an early gank. Taliyah needs early game advantage. It's very important to get level 6 before the enemy laner. I often recall at level 5, get the manabook piece of morello and use my entire kit to clear the next 2 waves asap. When you recall at level 5, tell your botlane to let them push in. Once you get level 6, after the final waveclear, immediately rush botlane. I love the meta right now, jungler focus botlane anyways, My roams often work out, with the junglers help too. If the gank succeeds, you can either try to get the tower, drake or get back to your lane. It often happens that the enemy jungler is on the other side of the map and once you leave your lane to roam bot, the enemy jungler and your mid opponent will take down your mid turret as result. You have to be careful of that.

Taliyah can't win her lane solo. She is too weak to do so. She needs the help of the jungler. That is not particularly bad though, she is the queen of roaming after all. Which is what makes her so great. Do not expect to one shot your enemies like Lux and Syndra do. You can often oneshot the enemy midlaner or adc if you get ahead early and midgame, but don't risk it if you are not strong enough. I always ban katarina, because katarina is the best counter to Taliyah atm. Her mobilty is too crazy to deal with. You can not hit a single W E combo, because she can just jump away. Same applies to fizz. He doesn't get punished using his E. Ekko is strong against her too. He may get damaged by Taliyah's E, but the damage is a joke to him. Be careful of assasins. You can not deal with them alone. Always try to stay with your team. Your ult is a very nice tool. You can split push in late game (don't forget to ward) Because your ult has a really high range at lvl 3. If the enemy start baron 5v4 you can just use your ult to trap the melees inside baron pit and get damaged and delete the backline that's out of the baron pit together with your team.

TL;DR Taliyah is a very strong pick if you like to help out your team, but she gets easily punished if her roaming doesn't work out. She has to be careful of assasins and is very weak alone.
