Funfact, if you can make it through half the wall with a blink, you can make it through the full wall. So a blink 450 units long can jump across an 899 unit long wall.summoner 4

LOL lost it at the nemesis draft Honestly, can't say I've never hated a good kass. But I also can't say I ever found kass to be broken. I just found him highly annoying when fed or farmed. Highly annoying is NOT broken. also I still got a 70% winrate eve in diamond lol She's not so bad that her mains can't make her work. But she's definately worse than post stun removal eve in terms of damage.

"Hardly anyone picks him"? No-one was picking him in Bronze. He has a 15% pick rate in Diamond though. Although I also thought "Wow Riot's trying real hard to pretend to combat mobility creep" upon hearing of his nerfs.

You missed the point. Morde is a great burst mage, Yorick is a lane bully, Urgot has strong poke and Poppy is God Tier OP, but they are all unpopular because people think they are trash, or don't fit the meta (where honestly Yorick and Urgot are trash. Their ability to "carry" in solo queue is based on them getting fed, and if they don't' carry out of their lanes they aren't very useful in team fights, people don't even know what Yorick's ult does). Kass will still be strong and be able to carry games even with the nerf, but his win rate will go down and he will become less popular just like all the champions listed in this thread.

That's partly because 25% of Gnar's HP...that adds up to like, 12.

Kassadin is actually a pretty common pick at higher elos, but let's just keep pretending otherwise for the sake of making posts about it.

In a similar vein, this nerf is also not about Kassadin's win rate. They hardly ever are.

Kassadin was never going to be balanced when he could blink huge distances every 3 seconds. The mana limitation wasn't really that big a deal, because if you ever have to blink more than maybe 3 times in rapid succession then you fucked up so hard that you would be dead as any other champion in the game. His usage at higher levels of play attests to that.

God forbid that Kassadin might need to think about what he's doing instead of just ulting in, delivering a combo, surviving with his tanky stats and maybe using zhonyas if things get really bad and then ulting out.

Yes, I always wonder in which case would you absolutely need to flash more than 3 times, since apparently having any kind of mana limitation counts as a huge flaw, no matter how insignificant it really is in practice. And don't forget "bad early". You know, because "bad early" applies to the first 5 minutes of the game before lvl 6. Must be such a pain to survive with that flask and passive and fearing all that burst from mages who didn't unlock their ults yet. Such high-risk, Anivia has nothing on that.

Except he's melee, so you have to make up any cs you didn't get from being zoned Azir AND due to his relatively low damage, unless a mid is forced to use their cc/main damage spell on minions, they can still stand up to him.

Baiting out the cc is pretty risky. Any competent person will know to save their cc for a clearer shot, because otherwise, you should be right on them when they miss. If you're thinking "just blink out of the way" you have obviously been dodging Anivia stuns all day, because anything other than that will have you teleporting to them stunned, snared, charmed, or rooted.

Kass is not as easy as he sounds. Unless you snowball. Then he's like every other assassin. Making you wish you never started a game.

why is yorrick in there? hes crazy strong, you just have to know how to use him correctly. riot even said themselves that the reason they don't put him on free week is because he's no fun to play against.

as for kassadin, I agree that he needed a nerf, but not to his ult range. if they wanted to change anything with his ult, add a second at all ranks, but honestly I think they should just reduce the range on his q and e. they're bs long for a champ who is meant for all in

but he's not supposed to trade, and he isn't supposed to poke. he is supposed to have a weak early game with crazy strong all in burst potential after lvl 6. hes already safe enough with his ult and the passive+q shield (personally tho, I think the passive should be changed to flat bonus mr)

Is poke isn't THAT amazing is it? He's still weak to range champs if they can fight back well. And weak early game doesn't mean useless (though that's what he is if you're enemy's zoning is strong enough Azir)

If he had crazy burst potential, he'd be op because you can't avoid any of his moves unless you avoid him. If he already has crazy burst potential at 6, it doesn't matter because even mages can retaliate decently against him unless they use their main damage or CC against minions.

By the way, if a champ damages someone but also takes damage, that's a trade. To have good burst, but bad poke or trades, you need hard CC.

actually, hes only weak against REALLY ranged mids like ziggs and lux. sure his poke isn't amazing but he shouldn't have poke anything past meh.

and im well aware that weak doesn't mean useless. it wouldn't make him useless, just weaker.

you say "if he had burst potential" as if he doesn't. late game he can 100-0 any squishy champ out of nowhere. I don't see how nerfing his ranges on his regular abilities would make it harder to dodge them...

and you're right, if a champ damages someone and takes dmg that is called a trade. too bad his shield takes care of that.

Oh, no know about his late game. Don't drag out to late game with this guy... I'm speaking of early game. His burst is effective but combatable, depending on who you're laner is, which is fine. You definitly need ganks if you can't fight back through his shield, which isn't asking a lot if that's all he does to you.

Also, I was saying it's impossible for him to be balanced and have high burst but bad trades and poke against certain mids without a rework in how he works in general. The enemy is still fighting back, even if you shield their attacks.

first off, wow you are late to the comments. second, ekko's "hard cc" is 1 ability that is so ridiculously easy to avoid that it's kind of embarrassing if you get hit by it. also, ekko is extremely squishy and insanely vulnerable to cc.
