Salazar (Javier Bardem) is the captain of a different ship. Orlando Bloom is set to appear in DMTNT so would have to still be the Dutchman's captain, or else he'd be dead and not in the movie........

Just looked at the teaser trailer and the teaser description, and the movie has nothing to do with the Flying Dutchman or Will Turner being the new captain of her at all. The new "villain" is called Captain Salazar who escaped from the devil's triangle and is hellbent (hehe, no pun intended) to kill ALL pirates. I'm going to assume that for canonical purposes that Will is still performing his life oath as the captain of the Flying Dutchman, and is not going to be addressed or seen in the new movie.

My bigger issue seems to be me going against either a counter or a ranged champ. The two times I played him the enemy was Riven and the other time Kalista. Riven dodged all my barrels and went all in. Kalista had me dieing under tower without getting and cs. So my experience with the champ have been horrible so far.

Sorry for popping the party bubble, but I really wish they wouldn't. POTC4 was a hard flop in my opinion and they'd be better off starting a whole new series rather than risking the reputation of a good trilogy by adding more movies to it.
