Similar to saying "bomb" in an airport, your friend should resist the urge to say something he knows carries a steep penalty. If he's being honest, he should submit a ticket and request a review, but regarding having all bans require a manual review that is entirely unnecessary; most people that say "kys" are not doing it in a manner such as this, and wholly earn their ban.
